Means Of Dera Bugti: "Dera" means  a place where people live and "Bugti" is a popular and famous Caste of Baloch tribe. 

Introduction: Dera Bugti  is a District of Balochistan, which is known as natural beauty in whole Pakistan . Dera Bugti is famous in Growth of wheat, Resources of Natural Gas, Personality of Nawab Akbar Bugti. The Population of Dera Bugti according to  2005 Survey Report 250,000 and after the war of 2005 many people were leave their homes. 

Natural Resources: The Natural Gas is major mineral resource in Dera Bugti, which is found three areas in Dera Bugti. 1st and biggest natural gas resources were discovered in Sui area in 1952. Sui Gas is the Largest Gas Supplier in Pakistan, which is working under PPL (Pakistan Petroleum Limited). The second and 3rd  natural gas resources were found 1970  in Pirkoh and Loti Areas, which are under OGDCL (Oil and Gas Development Company).

History: Dera Bugti was the last areas to falls to the British colonial Empire. The Bugties were known as a bave cast of Baloch tribe   and they traditionally recognized as a Brave warriors fought off the British imperialism force courageously for numerous years. Bugties fought multiple battles against the British troops during the 19th century as the wanted to continue to be independent.However in the last 25 years of 19th century the British overcame the resilient Bugties due to its overpowering strenght.
